Nothing is on sale. Fairvalue Radar is in development. The free tools work and are covered by these terms. The paid product described on the site cannot be bought, no payment is accepted anywhere, and the pricing shown is a plan rather than an offer. Sections 6 and 7 take effect only when it ships, and the terms will be updated with a new date before it does.
1. Who you are dealing with
Fairvalue Radar is operated by an individual, not a licensed financial firm, and is not authorised or supervised by any financial regulator. Contact is [email protected] and every enquiry is answered by the same person who wrote the software.
Full operator identity, registered address and, where applicable, VAT registration are published here before any payment is ever accepted. Until then nothing on the site can create a financial obligation for you.
2. What the service is
Research software. It reads figures that companies have already filed publicly, runs arithmetic on them, and shows you the result together with the assumptions behind it. Every calculation on the free tools runs in your own browser.
The intended use is to help you do your own analysis faster and more consistently. It is a calculator with opinions about method, not an oracle.
3. What it is not
This is the section that matters most, so it is blunt.
- It is not investment advice. Nothing on this site is a personal recommendation. It does not know your circumstances, your goals, your tax position, your other holdings or your capacity for loss, and it never asks.
- It is not a suitability assessment. No output here means an investment is appropriate for you specifically.
- It never places an order. The software has no trading capability, by design and not merely by omission. Any future broker connection is read-only.
- It makes no claim about returns. No figure on this site is a forecast of what you will earn, and none should be read as one.
- A fair value is an estimate, not a fact. Change the growth rate or the discount rate and the answer moves a long way. The sensitivity grid on the DCF calculator exists precisely to show you how far.
If you want advice, speak to somebody licensed to give it in your country.
4. The free tools
The DCF calculator, the position size calculator and the comparison page are free to use, with no account and no payment, and are provided as they are. They run entirely in your browser: the numbers you type are not sent anywhere and are not stored by us.
The ticker lookup is the one exception. It sends only a company identifier to our server, which fetches that company's public filing from the SEC and returns it. It sends nothing about you.
You may use the output for your own decisions, including commercial ones. You may not present it as our advice or as a recommendation from us.
5. The waitlist
Giving us your email address puts it on a list and does nothing else. We use it to tell you when the product ships and if the plan changes materially. No marketing sequence, no sale or sharing of the address, no third-party advertising.
You can ask to be removed at any time by writing to the contact address, and removal means deletion rather than suppression. What we store and for how long is set out in the privacy notice.
6. Payment, when it exists
Not yet in effect. When the scored product ships, subscriptions will be sold through a merchant of record, which means the merchant is the seller of record, handles the payment and is responsible for VAT in your country. You will see who that is at checkout before paying anything.
Prices shown on the site today are planned prices. The price you are charged is the price displayed at the moment you subscribe, and it does not change during a billing period you have already paid for.
7. Cancelling and refunds
Not yet in effect. Subscriptions will be cancellable at any time and take effect at the end of the period already paid for. There will be a free trial that requires no card, so nothing becomes a charge you did not actively choose.
Consumers in the EU have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within fourteen days. Where that right applies it is honoured, and asking for a refund by email is enough — no reason required.
8. Where the data comes from
Company fundamentals come from SEC EDGAR, which covers companies that file with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission and no others. A business listed only in Europe or Asia has no filing here, and the site says so rather than substituting a guess.
Filed data can be wrong, restated, tagged inconsistently, or simply absent. Where a figure cannot be read, the field is cleared and flagged. It is never left holding a previous company's number, because a plausible wrong figure is far more dangerous than a missing one.
Share prices are not in any filing and come from a paid market data feed, delayed rather than real-time. Nothing on this site is a live quote, and it should not be used as one.
9. The public register
Every entry level, stop and price target the product publishes is written to an append-only register at the moment of publication, along with the market price it was published against. It is free to read, permanently, whether or not you ever pay for anything.
The register cannot be edited or deleted — the database refuses. A correction is a new entry that names what it replaces. Past entries, including the ones that turned out badly, stay visible, and past levels do not indicate future results.
10. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to break, overload or circumvent the rate limits. They exist so the SEC endpoint stays available to everyone, including you.
- Do not use the site as a proxy to bulk-harvest EDGAR. Go to the SEC directly — it is public and free.
- Do not resell or redistribute paid output, or share subscription access with people who have not paid for it.
- Do not present output from this site as advice from a licensed adviser, or as anything issued by the companies being analysed.
Accounts used to do any of the above can be closed, with a refund of the unused period.
11. Availability and liability
The site is provided without any guarantee of uptime, accuracy or fitness for a particular purpose. It depends on third parties — a hosting platform, the SEC, a market data vendor — and any of them can be unavailable or wrong.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for investment losses, lost profit, or decisions taken on the basis of anything shown here. That is not a formality: the entire premise of this software is that you make the decision, using output whose assumptions are visible to you.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
12. Changes, law and contact
These terms can change. The date at the top says when they last did. A change that materially affects paying subscribers is announced by email before it takes effect.
The governing law and the competent courts are those of the operator's country of establishment, which is stated in section 1 before any paid service begins. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of your own country of residence.
