Privacy notice

Unfinished. Two things must be filled in before this page goes live: the legal identity and address of whoever controls the data, and the name of the service that processes the signup form. Both are marked below. This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer.

There is very little to say here, which is the point. The site has no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no cookies. The only personal data it can collect is an email address you type into the waitlist form yourself.

What is collected

  • Your email address, only if you submit the waitlist form. Nothing else is asked for and nothing else is stored alongside it.
  • Ordinary server logs kept by the hosting provider — IP address, time of request, page requested, browser string. These are generated by the act of loading any web page and are not linked to anything else.

What is not collected

  • No cookies are set by this site, so there is no cookie banner and nothing to consent to.
  • No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers, no session recording.
  • The DCF calculator runs entirely in your browser. The numbers you type are never transmitted anywhere and are gone when you close the tab.
  • No profiling and no automated decision-making about you.

Why, and on what legal basis

The email address is used to send you two messages: one when the scored product becomes available, and one if the plan changes materially. Nothing else. The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Server logs exist for security and for keeping the site running, on the basis of legitimate interest.

Who else sees it

The waitlist form is handled by [NAME OF FORM OR EMAIL SERVICE], which stores the address on our behalf. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes the server logs described above. Nobody else receives your data. It is never sold, rented, or shared for advertising.

How long it is kept

Your email address is kept until the launch messages have been sent, or until you unsubscribe, whichever comes first — and is deleted within 30 days after that. Server logs are kept for the hosting provider’s standard retention period and are not archived by us.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of what is held about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, object to its use, or ask for it in a portable format. Write to [email protected] and it will be handled within a month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Unsubscribing

Every email carries a one-click unsubscribe link. Using it deletes the address rather than suppressing it.

Changes

If this notice changes in a way that affects what happens to data already collected, everyone on the list gets told before the change takes effect.
